Hey guys, how’s it going? Any crazy events happen in your life this week? I’m personally taken aback by the way we’re all connected somehow. It’s quite funny, I might say…whenever someone comes to mind so strongly, like it happened this week, I “happen” to run into that person that very same day or the next.
Of course, me being the ultimate believer that there is no such thing as coincidence, I know that was just a perfectly orchestrated divine appointment. Cool but strange things are happenin’ you guys!
Anyway, today I want to share some WISDOM. That’s right folks! I got some wisdom to drop on ya and I say that in the most humble way possible, because really? I’m still learning all the ropes of life, marriage, relationships, and all that good stuff.
With VALENTINE’S DAY coming up, I think the most appropriate thing to do is share some relationship insight I’ve gleaned over the years.
In this video I give you tips on how to save your marriage and relationships with your loved ones. Next to LOVE there is one key thing that can make or break a relationship, and that is COMMUNICATION!
But, but—how in the world do you communicate?! Everyone always says that communication is key, but not everyone goes into detail about what it really means.
Up until I found myself actually learning about it and living it out, or at least tying to, I never could grasp that concept either. And if you come from a family background in which NOBODY! And when I say nobody I really mean nobody…talks about anything related to conflicts and emotions, just like I grew up in my blessed but oh-so-Korean household, then you might understand where I’m coming from.
Although this is a general guideline of what to do or not do in your relationships, it truly sheds light on the struggles we might face with people. Not only are these tips applicable to me and based off some personal experience, since I’ve been practicing them from the time we were dating, but they’ve been proven to work and have been adopted by professional family therapists. If MFTs swear by these pointers, then hey, I think I just won the lottery!

I have marked the points that I forgot to include in the video with (***).
So, I know this is kind of a strange and random post to share on Fit for the Soul. However, what is a healthy lifestyle without healthy relationships? I wholeheartedly believe that in order to pursue a fulfilling life, we have to take care of our inner and relational struggles because that’s what we are…precious souls who have been entrusted with highly valuable relationships.
Have a great day and talk to you soon!
